The Installation Guide

Storage:

The HPL should be stored horizontally with the top plate facing down and a cover plate covering the top plate to avoid damage to the HPL and warping of the top plate. Damp conditions should be avoided and should not be placed directly on the floor or in contact with external walls. The best storage conditions for HPL are: Temperature: 23℃ - 25℃. Relative humidity: 45-55%.

Handling:

The entire HPL should be handled vertically, with care to prevent damage. For the entire HPL, two persons are preferred. Move carefully to avoid touching other objects and damaging its surface and edges. HPL products moving from one place to another should be lifted. Remove the protective film carefully during installation.

Choice of substrate:

Recommended substrates for HPL are particleboard and MDF? Do not use plywood, wood, gypsum board, cement board, etc.

Adhesive:

Two types of adhesives can be used to bind the HPL material to the substrate, PVAC glue (white glue) and contact glue. In this two types, PVAC glue is the best. It dries clear and binds well. The resulting glue thread is thinner than the contact glue. But it needs to maintain even and constant pressure over the entire area until the glue dries. PVAC glue has two types of catalytic and non-catalytic. When waterproof is required, we recommend contact adhesive and waterproof PVAC adhesive. Contact adhesive will produce very distinct lines of glue. We recommend colour-free contact gels.
