Compact Laminate is a thick double-sided high pressure decorative laminate formed by a special resin and various kraft paper layers at a high temperature and high pressure. It can be used directly as a structure, rather than having to adhere to a substrate. Due to its density and a variety of color options, textures, and surface treatments, it is extremely suitable for load-bearing countertops, as well as indoor wall and bathroom partitions, locker partitions, space compartments, storage cabinets, various countertops, furniture, and more.
All compact laminate is suitable for interior decor. However, compact laminate can also be made with special surface qualities making it suitable for outdoor use.
Three Steps to Remove Tough Stains
1. Apply a recommended cleanser and allow it to draw out the stain.
Acetone
Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl)
Ethanol
2. Clean using a rotating motion. If a cotton cloth or sponge doesn’t do the trick, try using a nylon-bristle brush.
3. Rinse with water and dry the surface. Remember, it is important to remove all cleanser from the surface
The Baking Soda Method for Removing Tough Stains
For tough, set in stains, try using the baking soda method. Apply a paste of baking soda and water on the area to pull out the stain. Wipe up the dried paste with a clean, damp non-abrasive cotton cloth, and rinse clean with water. Be aware that the baking soda-water paste will be slightly abrasive, so it is important not to rub the paste into the laminate surface.
Periodic application of a self-cleaning wax can also help minimize future staining.
